RCN: Hello, we are here with Hollywood High, a local band recently moved to Hollywood from TX , and they're a smokin' hot rock act, so we're going to find out a little more about what makes them tick. . .

1. RCN: What type of band are you?

Hollywood High is a high energy, guitar driven rock show. Think Motley Crue by the way of Blondie; The new wave of Glamour Rock.

2. RCN: Tell us the brief history of your band.

Hollywood High is lead by 19 year-old Glitter Rose, and guitarist Johnny Michaels. Recently moved from Dallas, TX, the band is hear to rock the Sunset Strip like it used to get rocked 20 years ago. The band has been dramatically growing for 3 years, gaining fans all over TX, and already conquering the Hollywood Scene. They're drive and motivation has dragged them here to the Rock n Roll capitol of the world to see they're dream flourish.

3. RCN: Who are your musical and non-musical influences?

I would say we're very much influenced by all genres of rock. Queen, Blondie, Motley Crue, Bowie, Lit, No Doubt. Just to name of few, those bands have all been major influences in our tracks. Our stage shows like nothing you've seen before. Glitter's charisma is untouchable and the star power of the band captivates audiences.

4. RCN: What are your dreams and goals?

We want Hollywood High to sell out in every town across the U.S. Not in clubs, but arenas, stadiums, we want to rock hard. We'd love to put out a major release, and sell what we have to a National Audience.

5. RCN: Who writes the songs, what are they about?

We all colaberate. The songs are about all things, parties, love, hookers, rockers, fighters. There's no one subject, one thing they have in common is they all kick.

6. RCN: What's your opinion of George Bush?

7. RCN: How do you promote your band and shows?

We work hard, we talk to everybody, we support others bands. How is anyone ever supposed to see you if they don't know who you are? We make sure everyone knows we are Hollywood High.

8. RCN: Describe your show, visual and musically.

You're not going to walk away from a Hollywood High show disappointed. There are so many great aspects to the show that you can't walk away not remembering something you liked. Musically and visually, the show is intoxicating.

9. RCN: What do you think about downloading music online?

10. RCN: What's your outlook on the record industry today?

I think if any band works hard enough and strives to be the best, the record industry will still do for those lucky bands what they've always done. Its about how hard your band is willing to work.

11. RCN: What's your claim to fame? (What's unique about your band)

Glitter Rose.

12. RCN: Tell us a story about a day in your life.

We all go to work at 6:00 am and tough out our "day jobs", then we come home and get ready to rock. We are constantly networking, promoting, keeping up with our website and fanmail, supporting other bands, rehearsing, playing live. Our lives are the band. We live it.

13. RCN: What inspires you to do what you do?

The Rock n Roll Dream.

14. RCN: What advice would you give to fellow bands?

Never give up. Always be confident in yourself. Work your ass off!

15. RCN: What are some of your pet peeves?

Music videos that don't make sense.

16. RCN: How does music affect you and the world around you?

Its the only universal language.

17. RCN: What's new in the recording of your music?

We just finished a 4 song LP in December titled, "Embrace The Sin.." You can get it for FREE off our website,www.hollywoodhigh69.com, w/ $5.99 shipping and handling.

18. RCN: What are the biggest obstacles for bands?

Working together as a team. Taking the next step.

19. RCN: What's the best and worst thing about playing clubs?

The worse thing about playing clubs is not being able to hear the vocals. There's nothing more crucial in a peformance. But overall, the club experience is fun.

20. RCN: Tell us about your next shows and why we should be there.

Currently we are working on some exclusive projects and aren't scheduled for a show at this time. But check out www.hollywoodhigh69.com for more information on that.

RCN: Thank you for your insight and time. We'll look forward to hearing your music and seeing your next live show . . . Later gator.
