HAPPY NEW YEAR 1999! The Rock City News New Year's Eve bash with the New Year's Awards was successful. We fell a little short of breaking even in costs, but everything went smooth throughout the evening, except for the Aerosmith tribute band "Rocks", who only played one song due to a drunk drummer. Lemmy of Motorhead was on hand all night mingling with the crowd and receiving his lifetime achievement award. The Atomic Punks brought the house down, as usual, and set off the new year at midnight.
