SNAKE LIKE CHARM INTERVIEW

Eric's riffs rip the air, harmonics dive and soar, lift your soul like a roller coaster. Claudio’s awesome drums kick in and propel your body onto the tracks. The SNAKE is MOVING! Rob's slamming bass hits you like a hammer and when Sudwyn’s commanding voice soars above your head, you lift off in an explosion of irresistible musical power. The Snake is on the move, and you are under it’s spell.

We're listening to a recording of SNAKE LIKE CHARM LIVE IN FLEMS, SCHWITZERLAND, EUROPE. Back in L.A., the band is gathered in Claudio's Hollywood pad. This stuff is cool. The phone's ringing off the hook, European chicks burning up satellites (they wish).

ROCK CITY (RC): Sounds like you guys got a kick out of touring Europe?

ROB: It was happening. The Europeans got into it, and so did we.

CLAUDIO: We grew from the experience. Not only musically, but personally. Now we know all each other’s bad habits.

ERIC: We played three major festivals and a lot of clubs.

SUD: Yeah, and the club owners wined and dined us.

CLAUDIO: It was a great challenge to play Europe. We did England, France, Germany, Schwitzerland and Italy in six weeks. Audiences up to 2,000.

SUD: We’ll definitely go back next year.

ROB: Yeah, the Europeans are cool. They hang all night.

RC: Who arranged the tour?

SUD: We did. Claudio did the booking. He’s from Europe. RC: Who’s the Boss?

CLAUDIO: I am.

ERIC: I am. SUD: I am.

ROB: I’m just an average guy.

ERIC: No, seriously, we pull together. We all have job titles and take care of things that have to be done. RC: How did you finance the tour?

ERIC: First of all, in Europe you get paid to play.

SUD: Yeah, and we sold our T-shirts and our new CD.

RC: Yeah, tell us about your new CD, THE TRUTH.

CLAUDIO: We did absolutely everything. It was a lot of work, but it was great fun.

SUD: It was definitely worth it. It sounds great. RC: How would you describe the style?

ERIC: The new CD is a little heavier than the first one. The songs grind more. But we haven’t lost the melody.

ROB: It’s groove oriented mood music for the 21’st century.

RC: What are your future plans?

ERIC: To promote our new CD here in the States.

SUD: And we can’t wait to get out and play in front of our local fans again. It’s great to be back in L.A. The band agrees. L.A. is home.
