Special Comments:
The Oceanside Harbor Beach is a small, quiet and accessible beach park on the west side of Oceanside Harbor. The park features restroom and shower facilities, abundant shaded picnic tables and fire rings.
The harbor has a full-service marina with nearby fuel and bait docks. The launch ramp is free and boat trailer parking is free in Lot #1 on the east side of the railroad tracks. Fees in the other lots are $5 from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m., $10 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., or $15 per day.
A vessel and RV washdown area and holding-tank pumpout station are also available at no charge. Small motorboats and sailboats are available for rent from U-Drive Boat Rentals. Helgrens Sportfishing and Harbor Cruises (760/722-2133) offers single- and multi-day fishing trips and whale-watching excursions.
Food/dining:
There is a food stand at the boat launch and a quaint village with several nice restaurants at the southeast corner of the marina.
Restrooms:
Restrooms and showers are located on the beach and at the harbor marina.
