If you want to take the train to the beach, this is the place, as an Amtrak/Metrolink station is located nearby at the Ole Hanson Beach Club. But access from the parking lot is just as easy. The surf is moderate to good with a nice sandy bottom. The concession stand rents boogie boards and snorkeling gear.Food/Dining: One concession stand is adjacent to the restrooms, across the railroad tracks from the parking.
Facilities: Lifeguards, surfing, food stand, playground, rentals, showers, volleyball.
Restrooms: "Adequate" best sums it up.
Dogs: Not allowed.
