Special Comments:
For Your Convenience
As one of the county's premier surfing beaches, large crowds of surfers and skim/boogie boarders make Salt Creek less than perfect for families. Portions of the beach are restricted to swimming, surfing and skim boarding, as distinguished by mobile markers positioned as wave and current conditions dictate. Intermediate to advanced swimming and surfing ability is recommended. Boogie boards and other items can be rented at the concession stand.

Food/Dining: A concession stand sells typical snack bar food.

Facilities: Lifeguards, surfing, bus stop, food stands, picnic tables, rentals, showers, basketball courts, volleyball.

Restrooms: Basic but adequate.

Dogs: Allowed in parking lots and on pavement only; not allowed on the sand.
