This wide, deep beach offers a lot of room, which attracts large crowds. A jetty keeps the waves mild to moderate (boogie boards can be rented). Volleyball nets, fire pits and a grassy picnic area make for a great all-day beach. Climb over the sandstone rock to Pirates Cove on the west to see interesting geology that attracts rock climbers.

Food/Dining: One concession stand with a seating area.

Facilities: Lifeguards, fire rings, food stand, picnic tables, playground, rentals, volleyball.

Restrooms: Clean and built for crowds.

Dogs: Leashed dogs allowed before 9 a.m. and after 9 p.m. only.
