Beach Information
Special Comments: Will Rogers State Beach has over 20 volleyball courts that are used for fun and competitions. It also has some decent waves for surfing and body boarding. State Beach is located between station 17 and 18 just north of Santa Monica. Volleyball is the main attraction here. The bike path continues south for miles but comes to The surf can be fun and favors a high tide. Be cautious of water conditions because a large storm drain is located here. It is generally safe to go in the water 48 hours after a rain storm. Ask the lifeguard if you are uncertain. The beach is handicap friendly and there is a lot of room for everybody.
Food/dining: There is a snack bar off of the bike path and market and restaurants across the street.
Restrooms: Restrooms with showers are available in the area.
