Beach Information
Special Comments: Little Dume beach is a great spot for surfing, diving, tidepools and long walks on the beach. If you know somebody who lives in Point Dume, than you will have the key to one of the many gated trails that lead down to the shore. If you don't have access to a key you can still experience the beauty of Little Dume beach by walking north from Paradise Cove, or south from Big Dume. It is a very pleasant walk on the sand, beneath tall cliffs, that takes you to Little Dume beach. Most of the locals are canines having a blast digging their claws in the sand. It is a great spot to pack a lunch and have a picnic on the beach. There are no lifeguards and no restrooms.

The water visibility tends to be clearer here than other beaches in the Los Angeles area. Live reefs and kelp beds make for excellent skin or scuba diving. The surf is good year round.

Food/dining: No food available on the beach
Restrooms: No restrooms available
