Beach Information
Special Comments: El Pescador State Beach, which means the fisherman in spanish, is a favorite location for surf-fishing and bodyboarding. Conditions at El Pescador are prime for surf-fishing. The beach is long and crowds are minimal. On busy weekends the parking lot will fill, but there is still plenty of space on the beach.

The waves can get good at El Pescador and it is a favorite beach for surfers and bodyboarders who like to stay away from the crowds. It's worth a check on large south or west swells, if you don't mind a few close outs. Diving in the outer kelp beds can be good to excellent with an abundance of sea life.

Food/dining: No food available on the beach
Restrooms: Portable restrooms are located next to the parking lot.
